Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, on Monday reached the New York City to address the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on Sustainable Development.

As per the schedule, PM Modi would also participate in ‘multilateral and bilateral’ engagements after his "historic" visit to Houston. Further, PM Modi will move to California to interact with various tech companies in Silicon Valley on September 25 and 26. Meanwhile, he would also meet the Indian Diasporas. On the very next day, the Indian PM would back to New York in order to hold bilateral talks with Obama.

The MEA Spokesperson, Raveesh Kumar, in a Tweet said, “Farewell Texas! After an unprecedented and historic visit to Houston, PM @narendramodi departs for New York City to address the #UNGA74 and participate in other multilateral and bilateral engagements”.

In a grand show of friendship and common vision, PM Modi had shared the stage with US President,  Donald Trump, at the gala "Howdy, Modi!" event.

Both of the giant leaders however praised each other for their mutual achievements and pledged to fight to fight terrorism.
