5 employees of sugar mill killed in road accident in Rampur

Five employees of a sugar mill were killed and four others injured when their car collided with a private bus carrying a marriage party in Shahabad area on Wednesday morning.

Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Vidya Sagar Sharma said that the employees were returning to Rana Sugar mills when their vehicle was hit by the bus near Bandar village on Dhakia road.

In the accident, Mukesh, Harbeer, Shiv Charan, Diggu and Amit were killed on the spot while Posbal, Imran, Viresh and Ankush were critically injured.

The injured were admitted to the district hospital.
