A serious assasination  in the northeastern region of Nigeria killed at least 110 people. Those killed include mostly farmers. The officials gave this information on Sunday.

According to reports received, the killings took place before noon on Saturday in a village called Koshobe near Maiduguri area in the violence-torn Borno province. In this, the farmers of the village were mainly targeted.

According to eyewitnesses, some gunmen riding motorcycles attacked male and female farmers working in the fields. Many women were also kidnapped after this attack. No terrorist group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack. Organizations commonly called Boko Haram and Islamic State in West Africa (ISWAP) in Nigeria have carried out such attacks in recent years.

Both terrorist groups are believed to be quite active in this African region and have killed over 30 thousand people in the past decade while forcing over 20 million people to seek refuge in other African countries including Niger, Chad and Cameroon. Have done.
