The number of active cases in the country has gone down to six lakhs and recovery rate has gone up from 91% due to higher number of people recovering compared to new cases of corona virus infection during the last 24 hours. Exceeded. As on September 21, there were 10.03 lakh active cases in the country. Since then its number has been steadily declining and now it has come down to six lakhs.


There has been a slight decrease in daily cases of infection after two consecutive days of fasting. 48,648 new cases of Kovid-19 were reported in different parts of the country in one day. A day earlier there were 49,881 cases on Thursday, 43,843 on Wednesday and 36,470 new cases on Tuesday.


According to data released on Friday by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 57,386 people have been cured from Corona in the last 24 hours, bringing the rate of recovery from the epidemic to 91.15 percent. So far, about 80.89 lakhs have been infected by corona, out of which 73,73 lakh people have become healthy. At the same time, the number of deaths increased to 1.21 lakh due to the death of 563 patients.


Due to the increase in the number of healthy people, 9,301 cases have been reduced to 5,94,386 cases. The rate of recovery has increased to 91.15 percent and the rate of active cases to 7.35 percent, while the death rate is 1.50 percent.


Maharashtra, the worst affected by the epidemic, has come down to 1.28 lakh, with a decrease of 2,137 in active cases during the last 24 hours, while the death toll has risen to 43,710 from 156 deaths. At the same time, 7,883 people have become healthy, taking the number of people getting relief from this epidemic to 14.95 lakh.
