The air quality in the national capital Delhi deteriorated on Saturday and the average air quality index (AQI) came to 352. Air quality deteriorated in the National Capital Region of Ghaziabad, Noida, Faridabad and Gurugram, while the index value remained above 401 in one-two monitoring centers in neighboring cities, which falls in the 'severe' category.

The high relative humidity in the morning was 96 percent in the national capital.

Meteorologists have generally predicted cloudy skies with light rain or evening rain, which may help improve and improve air quality slightly. In Delhi, the air quality index remained high in many places including Anand Vihar, Ghazipur, Chandni Chowk and Delhi.

The Meteorological Department has predicted the maximum temperature to be around 26 degree Celsius during the day, while the minimum temperature can be around 10 degree Celsius on Sunday morning.

On Sunday, the air quality is expected to deteriorate with dense fog and further fall in temperature.
