Assam logs 7,929 cases of new Covid19 cases on Thursday

As many as 7,929 new Covid19 cases were detected in Assam on Thursday, taking the positivity rate to 12.92 per cent.
Out of the total new cases logged in Assam on Thursday, 1,716 cases were reported from Guwahati city. The new cases were detected after conducting tests of 61,359 samples.
Moreover, 12 persons lost their lives to the Covid19 infection in the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, Covid19 recovery rate in Assam currently stands at 92.81 per cent.
