The
renowned bollywood actress, Kangana Ranaut, has been served with a ‘stop work’ notice by the
Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). It all happened couple of days after
the actress had expressed apprehension that the BMC might demolish her office
‘Manikarnika Films ’ in Pali Hill area of Bandra.
The actress, Kangana Ranaut, had on
Monday shared videos of the BMC officials at her office as the team inspected
the property. The notice was issued under under Section 354(A) of the Mumbai
Municipal Corporation Act. The BMC officials were seen putting up the notice on
Kanagan Ranaut’s office gate today morning. The notice pointed out over a dozen
alterations in the bungalow, like a toilet being converted into office cabin
and new toilets being constructed alongside staircase. “Kangana Ranaut has to
give permission details to the BMC within 24 hours. If she defies the notice,
the BMC officials could go ahead and demolish Kangana Ranaut’s office”, the
notice reads.
According to the notice, Kangana Ranaut
has to provide all permission documents for construction and renovation of her
office immediately in the next 24 hours. No work can be carried out at the
site. Furthermore, the notice reads, “If you fail to stop the execution of work
forthwith or if stopped and fail to produce permission within 24 hours, I shall
under Section 354(A) and in exercise of powers and functions conferred upon me
as aforesaid without any further notice cause the said building or work to be
removed or pulled down, at your risk and cost”.
Kangna was the first and the only
bollywood actress, who smelled conspiracy behind the death of Bollywood actor,
Sushant Singh Rajput. Rajput was found dead at his Mumbai based residence on
June 14, 2020.
