National capital's air quality on Tuesday morning improved to 'moderate' giving a sigh of relief to the Delhiites, after reeling under 'severe' to 'poor' for past several days.

The average Air Quality Index (AQI) in the city on Tuesday morning at around 0800 hours was recorded at 160.

The minimum temperature recorded in the city on Tuesday morning was 11.8 degrees C.

Sunday evening shower and gusty wind played a great part in clearing the particulate matter.
