Leaks about the Samsung Galaxy S11 continue to grace the rumor mills and this time, we get to learn some additional information about S11's display, camera, and expected color options. The Galaxy S11 could sport a new AMOLED display type with a smaller central punch hole and offer excellent low-light imaging thanks to the large 108 MP sensor.

A flurry of new Samsung Galaxy S11 leaks has surfaced in the past few days. While we have already reported about expected screen sizes (that top out at a massive 6.7-inches!) and performance improvements, we are now looking at some additional information about the display, punch hole, the camera, and possible color options.

Dutch site LetsGoDigital has learned that Samsung has filed for a patent with the Korean Intellectual Property Office for a new display technology called SAMOLED that could feature in the upcoming Galaxy S11 and/or the Galaxy Fold 2. Apart from this patent filing, not much is known about this new AMOLED display type at the moment. In related news, leak Ice Universe claims that the Galaxy S11 will have a central punch hole for the selfie camera, but it will be smaller than what is available on the Note 10.

The Galaxy S11 was earlier rumored to feature a 108 MP Samsung ISOCELL Bright HMX sensor. This is now more or less confirmed thanks to code in the One UI 2.0's camera app that was examined by XDA Developers. The code indicates support for a resolution of 12,000 x 9,000, which is essentially 108 MP. That being said, we still do not know which variant of the Galaxy S11 would feature the 108 MP. It is also very likely that the sensor won't be directly outputting 108 MP files. Rather, it could bin clusters of 4 or 9 pixels to save 27 MP or 12 MP photos. Given the large size of the senor, we can expect greatly enhanced low-light performance. The code also seems to confirm that the Galaxy S11 could indeed sport a tall 20:9 screen.

Apart from the camera sensor, we also get to learn about the color options that Samsung might offer for the Galaxy S11 series. This information comes via known leakster Ishan Agarwal who says that the Galaxy S11e would be available in Blue, Grey, and Pink while the S11 would sport at least Blue, Grey, and Black color options. Apart from the S11 series, the upcoming S10 Lite will be seen in Blue, White, and Black and the Note 10 Lite will be available in Red, Silver (Aura?), and Black colors. Ishan also notes that new Galaxy Buds (SM-R175) are in development and they will be coming in Blue, Pink, Black, and White colors.

The Samsung Galaxy S11 series is expected to launch in February during MWC 2020. We will get to know more as we near that date so stay tuned.
