Lockdown forced CM Yogi Adityanath to break tradition on Ramnavmi

Gorakshapeethadhishwar and CM Yogi Adityanath has once again broken the tradition for folk welfare. This is the first time in the midst of a nationwide lockdown for rescue from Corona when he is not at Gorakhnath temple in Gorakhpur on Ramnavami. In his absence, Yogi Kamal Nath, the first priest of the temple, completed the religious rituals. Yogi is a monk and also head of the state. He seems to follow all religious customs and traditions but does not hesitate to break the traditions whenever the society needs them. 

Actually, the tradition of the Nath cult is also that it should not be bound by any tradition, but should do whatever is necessary for the country, time, situation and folk welfare. So, Yogi Adityanath, President of the All India Avadhut Bhesh Panth Panth-Yogi Mahasabha, has given this message by breaking the age-old tradition on Ram Navami. Yogi has been following the tradition of Nath cult by breaking traditions on some occasions earlier. 

People associated with Gorakhnath temple for years are witness to this. Yogi Adityanath observes a nine-day fast in Chaitra and Shardiya Navaratri. He worships Shakti for nine days in Navratri. During his time as a Gorakhpur MP, he used to stay on the first floor of his office and residence in the temple, in place of the Kalash in nine days of Navratri, worshiping the goddess. But this tradition broke for the first time at the time of a train accident in Gorakhpur on Navratri, about a decade and a half ago, he had come out of the temple to help people at the scene.
