PM Modi's meeting with Chief Ministers, Delhi CM Kejriwal suggested - Lockdown should be increased till April 30

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is discussing the question of advancing the nationwide lockdown with chief ministers of all states today (11 April). During this meeting, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal suggested that the lockdown should be extended till 30 April. In the discussions through video conferencing, a decision can be taken on whether to extend the 21-day nationwide lockdown implemented to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. During video conferencing, Prime Minister Modi was seen discussing with a mask. Apart from this, Chief Ministers of many states are also wearing masks. 

The video conferencing of the chief ministers with the prime minister is taking place at a time when many states and many experts have urged the central government to extend the 21-day nationwide lockdown from April 14 in view of the corona virus. Modi on Wednesday told the leaders of various political parties, including the opposition in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, that the nationwide lockdown implemented due to the corona virus will not be removed at once. He had emphasized that saving the life of every person is his government's priority.
