Indian tennis players suffered a loss in the latest world rankings released on Monday after a disappointing performance at the Clay Court Grand Slam French Open. The French Open concluded on Sunday.

No player from India could reach the main draw this time in the singles category of the French Open. Three Indian players went into qualifying and all three suffered defeat.

In the singles ranking, the country's top player Sumit Nagal has slipped two places to 129 position. Prajnesh Gunneswaran has lost seven places and slipped to 149th position. Ramkumar Ramanathan has dropped to number 207 with a loss of eight places.

Rohan Bopanna remains 37th in the doubles rankings, while Divij Sharan has dropped five places to 62nd.
