The first phase of Covid-19 immunization vaccination will be started as soon as possible by the start of the year 2021 to protect against Covid-19 infection in Rajasthan. All the necessary preparations have been started for this.

Medical and Health Minister Dr. Raghu Sharma said that Covid-19 vaccine will be immunized in the first phase by putting the state government and private medical service and women and child development department personnel. He said that in a video conference organized by the Union Ministry of Health today, Covid-19 Vaccine Operation Guideline was discussed in detail with the officials of the Medical Department.

Dr. Sharma said that preparations for Covid-19 vaccination have been started in the state and two thousand 444 cold chain vaccination points have been made at district hospitals and selected community health centers. Three state level vaccine centers and 7 divisional level vaccine centers have also been set up in Jodhpur, Jaipur and Udaipur. Along with this, teams of Disaster Task Force for Immunization have been formed in all districts under the leadership of District Collector.

According to the guideline of the Union Health Ministry, the beneficiaries of Kovid-19 vaccine vaccination are being counted and their required database will be uploaded in the 'Kovin' software as soon as possible. He informed that UNICEF, UNDP and World Health Organization will cooperate in this campaign.
