There was a war of words on Saturday between Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Home Minister Amit Shah on Prime Minister Narendra Modi 's statement at the all-party meet on India China border standoff that 'neither is anyone inside India's territory nor has any of its posts been captured”.

A day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi said at an all-party meeting that “neither is anyone inside India's territory nor has any of its posts been captured”, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, in a post on social media, alleged that the PM has surrendered Indian territory to Chinese aggression.

Posting on his Twitter account the remarks by the PM with his tweet, Mr Gandhi said, "PM has surrendered Indian territory to Chinese aggression." "If the land was Chinese: 1. Why were our soldiers killed? 2. Where were they killed?"

Hitting back at Mr Gandhi, the Home Minister, tagging a video of a soldier’s father asking Gandhi not to indulge in politics, said that the Congress leader should rise above “petty politics” stand in solidarity with nation.

Referring to a 32 second video message posted by a father of an injured soldier during skirmish in Galwan valley on June15, he further said that a brave army man’s father speaks and he has a very clear message for Mr Gandhi.

In the video, which has been doing rounds in the social media, the injured soldier's father was quoted as saying “The Indian Army is a strong army and can defeat China. Rahul Gandhi don’t indulge in politics in this… my son fought in the Army and will continue in the army and will continue fighting in the army.'

The Congress leader had earlier tweeted a video of the father with a comment that the senior Ministers of the Government of India were lying about the incident in Galwan Valley.
