Rupee opens strong at 73.94 against USD

The Rupee on Monday surged by 26 paise to 73.94 in opening trade on selling of US Dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.
The local unit was seen robust owing to weak dollar against other world currencies amid strong opening in equity market, the dealers said.
The rupee registered intra days high and low at 74.05 and 73.92 respectively, he added.
