The BSE Sensex on Thursday improved 42.75 points to 57,849.06 following gains of IT, Telecom and Technology stocks.
The Nifty too rose by 8 points to 17,221.70.
The Sensex registered the days high and low at 57,851.64 and 57,578.99 points respectively.
The Nifty registered the days high and low at 17,223.15 and 17,146.35 points respectively.
The Mid Cap fell by 0.13 per cent while Small Cap was up by 0.33 per cent.
In 30 scrips, 15 advanced while 15 declined.
