Ujjwala scheme: Three big and 8 small cylinders for free

Ujjwala beneficiaries will get 8 LPG cylinders free of cost with three 14.2 kg and 5 kg connections. The Head of state of Indian Oil,  Utti Bhattacharya sent a letter saying that Ujjwala customers will get this benefit under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana.

First, the money will have to be paid in cash as the government is sending subsidy to these customers in their bank account so that they can take a cylinder every month under the scheme. If customers take the first cylinder using the advance amount of the month of April, then the advance amount of May will be sent to their linked bank account. With this, the new booking for refil will be done only after 15 days after getting the first cylinder.
