Superintendent of Police, Sambhal in Uttar Pradesh, Yamuna Prasad has suspended Sub-Inspector Kishanvir Singh posted in Kotwali after the video went viral while taking bribe.
Mr. Prasad gave this information here. He said that Netrapal Singh, a resident of Kewalpur Tipeda of Rajpura area, had also accused Sub Inspector Kishanvir Singh, who was posted at the Rajpura police station, in a case of taking bribe and consuming alcohol etc. A video related to this also went viral.
Taking seriously the video of the bribe going viral, he on Monday directed the accused sub-inspector Kishanvir to be suspended and a case registered against him. The Gunnore jurisdictions are investigating the case.
