After launching the Redmi 8A, Xiaomi is all set to bring the Redmi 8 to India. Redmi 8 India launch event will begin at 11 am today.

After launching the Redmi 8A in the country Xiaomi is all set to launch yet another smartphone in India today. It is the Redmi 8. Xiaomi India has been teasing the Redmi 8 for some days now. The Redmi 8 is the successor to the Redmi 7 that launched in India earlier this year. Xiaomi teases that the Redmi 8 is going to be a big upgrade over the Redmi 7.


For now, there are no details revealed about the Redmi 8. Some of the latest teasers from Xiaomi suggests that the Redmi 8 will be a powerful smartphone and come packed with a big battery. The Redmi 8 India launch event will begin at 11 am IST today. The event will stream live on Xiaomi India's social media platforms -- Facebook and Twitter, YouTube channel and also on the company's official website.




The Redmi 8 is expected to have aggressive pricing in India similar to all other Redmi phones. In India, the Redmi 8 is expected to be priced between Rs 7,000 and Rs 8,000. Recently Xiaomi launched the Redmi 8A in India. The price of the Redmi 8A starts at Rs 6,499. This price is for the base model of the smartphone. The top-end model of the phone with 3GB RAM comes at a price of Rs 6,999.


After the Redmi 8A and now the Redmi 8 Xiaomi is soon expected to launch the Redmi Note 8 series in India. The series includes -- Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro. Xiaomi is yet to announce the launch date of the Redmi Note 8 series in the country. The Redmi Note 8 and the Redmi Note 8 Pro are also official in China and the same model of the phones are said to come to India.
